People are sometimes surprised that we actually make things here. There’s no middleman, no warehouse of pre-printed blanks in another state — the machines are right here on Water Street in Henderson. Here’s what a typical day looks like and why it matters for your order.
The morning starts with proofs
Before anything gets produced, the day begins with proofs going out. We review digitized logos, confirm placements and colors with customers, and lock approvals. Nothing runs until you’ve signed off — that’s the rule. It catches problems early, when they’re cheap to fix.
Embroidery runs steady all day
Our Barudan multi-head machines run a constant mix of hats, polos, and jacket backs. Because embroidery has no minimum, the queue is full of small orders sitting next to bigger uniform runs. The machines hum while we load hoops, swap thread, and quality-check every piece as it comes off.
Screen print days are for volume
Screen print jobs are scheduled in batches. We line up the screens, dial in the ink, and run the press hard. It’s loud, fast, and satisfying — and it’s how a 200-shirt event order gets done in an afternoon. DTF runs on its own press alongside, handling the colorful small jobs.
Why doing it in-house matters to you
Because every step happens here, quality control is ours, turnaround is tighter, and you have one point of contact for the whole job. If a proof needs a tweak, the digitizer is in the same building. If a color is off, the printer sees it before it ships.
You’re also welcome to come see it. Walk in during shop hours, look at samples, and watch the machines run. That’s the difference between a local production shop and a website that farms your order out.
